How far is Coachella from your yard, and when can a porta potty arrive?
Coachella, ZIP 92236, is our farthest desert stop: about 65 minutes from our Beaumont yard by I-10 east. Coachella rides our scheduled desert route, so book 2–3 days ahead. Same-day is rare at that distance and only possible when a valley truck already has a unit free.

Is the Coachella music festival held in the city of Coachella?
No. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival takes place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, not in the city of Coachella. We do not claim to serve that festival. Many callers mix up the two, so we ask for a street address and ZIP 92236 to be sure the truck goes to the right town.
If you are hosting a private party during the April festival weekends, see our Indio porta potty page for festival-week sizing.
Which Coachella neighborhoods do you deliver to?
We deliver across all 13 areas below, from Pueblo Viejo and the Sixth Street murals downtown to newer tracts like Pyramid Ranch and Bella Canto. Coachella covers about 29 square miles, and much of it is still open land, so a GPS pin often works better than an address for farm and lot deliveries.
- Pueblo Viejo (downtown)
- Sixth Street corridor
- Bagdouma Park area
- Rancho Las Flores
- Dateland Park area
- Grapefruit Boulevard corridor
- La Entrada
- Navarra
- Puesta del Sol

- SR-86 corridor
What do farm crews in Coachella need for field toilets?
Farm crews in Coachella follow Cal/OSHA's field sanitation rule: 1 toilet and 1 handwash station for every 20 workers, placed within a quarter mile or a 5-minute walk, whichever is closer. Growers keep service records for 2 years. We service field units weekly; call the yard when the crew changes blocks.
Read the rule in the Cal/OSHA field sanitation rule (8 CCR §3457). Heat rules apply too: shade above 80°F and high-heat steps at 95°F, per the Cal/OSHA heat illness rule (8 CCR §3395). See our farm and ranch crew page for how we set up field units.

How many porta potties do I need for a Coachella park event like El Grito?
Coachella hosts El Grito at Rancho Las Flores Park in September, plus Día de los Muertos and Cinco de Mayo events. Alcohol is prohibited at all city parks, so you skip the drink add-on. A 300-person, 4-hour park event needs 6 standard units, 1 wheelchair-accessible unit and 2 handwash stations if food is sold.
The math: 300 ÷ 50 = 6 units for up to 4 hours. Accessible units should be at least 5% of the total and no fewer than 1 — see our wheelchair-accessible unit. Food booths need at least 1 handwash station per 4 toilets.
The city's facility use and special event paperwork is on the City of Coachella special event permit page. Confirm with your permit office or venue.
How do you keep a porta potty usable in Coachella's 108°F summers?
Coachella averages 108.1°F in July, the hottest of our desert cities. Tanks heat up and smell sooner. We place units in shade where possible, face doors away from the afternoon sun, keep vents clear and add a second weekly service for crews over 10 workers from June to September.
Our trucks cross the San Gorgonio Pass on I-10 to get here, where advisories bring 50–60 mph gusts. We stake units on open fields and lots so desert wind does not tip them.
