Can you supply porta potties for the Beaumont Cherry Festival or a large festival?

Yes. Beaumont Porta Potty supplies festival porta potties, accessible units and handwash stations from its Highway 60 yard, about 10 minutes from most Beaumont venues. The 2026 Beaumont Cherry Festival ran May 28–31 on a 30-acre city-owned site, with the parade on Beaumont Avenue Saturday.

The festival moved to Noble Creek Park in 2024 and now runs on a 30-acre city site. Each year, the whole Pass gets busy that week. If you are a vendor, a church booth or a side event, book 7–10 days ahead. Our trucks run that week too, but Friday routes fill first.

How many porta potties does a festival need?

A festival needs about 1 porta potty per 50 people at peak for 4 hours, 1.5 times that for 6 hours and 2 times for 8 hours. Add 1 unit for every 4 when beer is sold. A 2,000-person, 6-hour day with a beer garden works out to about 75 units.

Dispatch math for one festival day: 1 unit per 50 guests × 1.5 for 6 hours, plus 1 per 4 for alcohol
Crowd at peak6-hour day6-hour day with beer gardenAccessible units (5%, 1 per cluster)Handwash stations
1,00030382+10+ near food
2,00060754+19+ near food
5,00015018810+47+ near food

Peak crowd, not total tickets, sets the count. A 4-day festival with 2,000 people at peak still needs about 75 units on site, plus service between days. Use the porta potty calculator for smaller events.

How should festival porta potties be grouped into clusters?

Group festival porta potties in clusters of 8 to 20 units near the main crowd draws: the food court, beer garden, stage and kid zone. Put at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit in every cluster and handwash stations at each food cluster. Leave a truck lane for mid-event service.

Food court
Toilets downwind, handwash stations within the 200-ft travel distance
Beer garden
Its own cluster, since alcohol raises use by about 25%
Stage
Off to the side of the crowd, never behind the sound booth
Entrance
A small cluster for the line waiting to get in
Wind
Rows staked and doors turned away from Pass west winds

California Health and Safety Code §114315 asks for toilets and handwashing within 200 feet travel distance of food facilities. See the code text, and our Riverside County event restroom rules guide.

How many ADA porta potties does a festival need?

A festival needs wheelchair-accessible porta potties for at least 5% of all units, and no fewer than 1 per cluster. The California Building Code (11B-213.2) and 2010 ADA Standards (§213.2) set that floor. A 40-unit concert split into 4 clusters therefore needs 4 accessible units, not 2.

That is exactly how one concert order came in: 40 standard and 4 accessible. Read the ADA Standards from the U.S. Access Board and confirm the count with your permit office or venue. Our wheelchair-accessible units are built to ADA design guidelines and need firm, level ground.

Running a festival, carnival or tournament?

Send us your site map, peak crowd and hours. We will build a cluster plan and a daily service schedule with one written quote.

Can you service festival porta potties during a multi-day event?

Yes. Multi-day festivals, carnivals and competitions can add daily or mid-event service: pump, clean, restock toilet paper and refill handwash water. One carnival booked 3 cleanings a day for 4 days, and a 4-day shooting competition had 16 units serviced between competition days.

Multi-day jobs from the calls we reviewed (names removed)
EventWhat the organizer askedHow we serviced it
Carnival, 4 days4 standard + 1 accessible, cleaned 3 times a day Thursday–SundayMorning, mid-day and evening pump, clean and restock
Shooting competition, 4 days16 units serviced mid-eventService between competition days so lines stay short
Concert40 standard + 4 accessibleDelivered before load-in, serviced to the event schedule

Units arrive clean and stocked. On busy days, service early in the morning before gates open and again mid-afternoon. Service trucks need a lane to each cluster.

Can you stagger delivery of many festival units?

Yes. For orders of 20 or more units we split delivery over 1 to 2 days so vendors, stages and fencing can go up around them. Tell us your load-in order and gate hours. Pickup runs the next business day, or Tuesday after a holiday Monday.

Mark each cluster on a site map with cones or flags. A site contact with a cell phone at the gate saves time on drop day.

How far ahead should a festival book porta potties and permits?

Start festival restroom planning 8 to 12 weeks out. The City of Beaumont special event permit is due at least 4 weeks before the event, and the application asks whether portable toilets will be used. Book the units 2 to 3 weeks ahead, or 7–14 days at minimum for accessible units.

Festival porta potty questions

Can I get a quote for 3–4 units for a homecoming festival?

Yes. Typical 2026 starting range, not a quote: about $175–$275 per standard unit and about $225–$375 per accessible unit for the event. See the cost guide.

Is there a discount for more units?

Delivery is quoted once per order, not per unit, so larger orders cost less per unit. Ask for a quote with your full count.

Can we get daily cleanings during the festival?

Yes. Daily or mid-event service can be added for multi-day events. One carnival booked 3 cleanings a day for 4 days.

Can you service 16 units between competition days?

Yes. We schedule service between event days so the units are clean and stocked before the next morning.

Do we need a city permit for portable toilets?

If you close a road or use more than half a city park in Beaumont, the city asks for a special event permit 4 or more weeks ahead. Confirm with your permit office.

Can you invoice our organization with a PO?

Yes. Approved organizations can use a PO and net terms. We send a W-9 and certificate of insurance on request.

What if units get damaged by the crowd?

Normal wear is on us. Vandalism, fire, graffiti or tipping by others is billed at repair or replacement cost.
