What is a restroom trailer, and how many stalls does a restroom trailer have?
A restroom trailer is a towed bathroom with real flush toilets, vanity sinks, lights, A/C and heat. Our restroom trailers run from a 2-stall model with a men's side and a women's side up to 4- or 5-stall models for bigger crowds. Each stall locks, and guests never wait outside a plastic door.

Does a bathroom trailer need water and electricity?
Yes. A bathroom trailer needs 120V power for lights, pumps, A/C and heat, plus water from a garden hose or the trailer's onboard tank. No outlet near the spot? We can arrange a generator. Tell the dispatcher how far your nearest outlet and hose bib are from the parking spot.
| Need | What works | What to tell us |
|---|---|---|
| Power | 120V outlet, or a generator | Distance from the outlet to the spot; anything else on that circuit |
| Water | Garden hose, or onboard tank | Distance to the hose bib |
| Ground | Level pad | Slab, packed dirt or gravel; any slope |
| Truck access | Room to back in and unhitch | Gate width, turns, low branches, soft ground |
Is the restroom trailer air-conditioned for a 96°F Beaumont summer?
Yes. Our restroom trailers have A/C and heat. Beaumont averages 96.3°F in July, and a plastic porta potty in the sun gets hot fast, so trailers are the most comfortable option for summer weddings. The A/C only runs with steady 120V power, which is why the power plan matters so much.
Winter works too. Heat keeps guests comfortable when nights at 2,612 feet drop near freezing. Ask about cold-weather water plans when you book December–February dates.
How many restroom trailer stalls do I need per guest?
For planning, we count each restroom trailer stall about like one standard porta potty: about 1 stall per 50 guests for 4 hours, ×1.5 for up to 6 hours and ×2 for up to 8 hours. Add 1 stall for every 4 when alcohol is served. Then add 1 wheelchair-accessible unit beside the trailer.
| Guests and hours | Toilet spaces | Trailer to start with |
|---|---|---|
| 75 guests, 4 hours | 2 | 2-stall |
| 120 guests, 6 hours, beer and wine | 5 | 4- or 5-stall, or 2-stall + flushables |
| 150 guests, 5 hours, open bar | 6 | 5-stall + 1 standard unit |
| 200 guests, 8 hours, open bar | 10 | 5-stall + 5 standard or flushable units |
Run your own numbers in the porta potty calculator.
How do restroom trailers help at a wildfire evacuation shelter?
Shelters need restrooms that hold up to long hours of use. In our calls, a shelter asked how many trailers it needed for 463 evacuees. Using our rule for use over 8 hours, 463 ÷ 50 × 2.5 rounds up to about 24 toilet spaces, plus accessible units, handwash stations and daily service.
| Item | Count | How |
|---|---|---|
| Toilet spaces | About 24 | 463 ÷ 50 = 9.3 × 2.5 = 23.2, round up |
| Restroom trailers | 3 five-stall (15 stalls) | Flush toilets and sinks for long stays |
| Standard units | 7 | Fill the gap to 24 |
| Wheelchair-accessible | 2 | 5 percent of 24, rounded up |
| Handwash stations | 6 | 1 per 4 toilets when meals are served |
| Service | Daily | Pump, clean, restock, refill water |

How far ahead should I book a restroom trailer in Beaumont?
Book a restroom trailer 7–14 days ahead, and earlier for May–October weddings, holiday weekends and Cherry Festival week. Trailers need a delivery plan for power, water and a level pad, so a few days of lead time helps us check your site. Emergencies are different: call and we tell you what is free.
