Do you supply porta potties for Coachella or Stagecoach?
No. The Coachella and Stagecoach festivals at the Empire Polo Club bring their own restroom operations, and we do not claim to serve them. We do serve private events in Indio during those 3 April weekends: rental-home parties, family camps and business hospitality. Coachella 2027 runs April 9–11 and April 16–18.
Stagecoach, the country festival, ran April 24–26 in 2026, the weekend after Coachella. Those weeks change how we plan a private Indio event. Our festival restroom page covers larger setups.
- Book earlyWe suggest 7–10 days ahead, the same lead we ask for on holiday weekends.
- Expect a Thursday dropFestival traffic around the polo grounds is heavy. We aim to set units before it builds.
- Size for long daysFestival-week parties run late. Over 8 hours, plan 2.5 times the base count.
- Add for drinksAdd 1 unit for every 4 when alcohol is served.
Do I need a permit for an event with porta potties in Indio?
Indio handles event permits through its Special Events office. The city takes applications online through its Citizen Self Service Portal, and staff answer at (760) 391-4175. Callers asked about permits in only 2% of the 334 calls we reviewed, but a street or park event in Indio should start there early.
Start on the city's Indio special event permits page. Confirm rules with your permit office or venue. If food is served, plan restrooms and handwashing within 200 feet of the food.
Planning a festival-week party in Indio?
Call (951) 580-3899 7–10 days ahead and we'll hold a Thursday drop for your Indio address.
How does Indio's 105°F summer heat change porta potty service?
Indio sits 13 feet below sea level and averages 105.8°F in July. In that heat a busy porta potty needs more than 1 service a week. For crews over 10 workers from June to September, we suggest a second weekly visit, a shaded spot and a clear roof vent so air keeps moving.
Field and farm crews around Indio follow the Cal/OSHA field sanitation rule (8 CCR §3457): 1 toilet and 1 handwash per 20 workers, within a quarter mile or 5 minutes' walk. Shade and water rules are in the Cal/OSHA heat illness rule (8 CCR §3395). See our farm and ranch crew page.
Will Pass wind on I-10 slow a delivery to Indio?
It can add a few minutes. Our trucks drive I-10 through the San Gorgonio Pass, where wind advisories bring 50–60 mph gusts and blowing dust. Loaded trucks slow down there. We factor it into the window we text you, and the driver still texts about 30 minutes before arriving.
